CyberCoders is seeking a Traveling Highway Bridge Superintendent to oversee highway and bridge paving operations across California. The role requires 5+ years of structural paving experience on CALTRANS projects, with leadership of field crews and coordination across multiple teams.

Traveling throughout CA, you will ensure compliance with Caltrans specifications, supervise safety programs, and maintain project documentation while driving production toward goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction.
• Experience leading field operations on Caltrans projects as a Superintendent/Foreman.
• Strong understanding of Caltrans standards, specifications, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day construction activities for bridge and roadway projects.
• Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and site logistics to meet goals.
• Ensure work aligns with Caltrans specs and contract docs.

Location: Traveling throughout CA
Salary Rate: $135,000 - $170,000 (salary depends on experience)

We are seeking a Traveling Structural Superintendentwho oversees highway/bridge paving operations across California. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of expeirence in structural paving on CALTRANS projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day construction activities for bridge, structural, and roadway improvement projects.
• Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and site logistics to support production goals.
• Ensure all work aligns with Caltrans specifications, contract documents, and project requirements.
• Lead site safety initiatives and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate daily coordination meetings, site inspections, and work planning sessions.
• Partner with project management, engineering teams, inspectors, and owners' representatives.
• Evaluate drawings, specifications, RFIs, and project updates to support successful execution.
• Monitor workmanship and quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
• Maintain project records, daily reports, and production tracking documentation.
• Identify and resolve field issues that could impact schedule, quality, or productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil, highway, or bridge construction.
• Previous experience leading field operations on Caltrans projects as a Superintendent, General Foreman, or Foreman.
• Strong understanding of Caltrans standards, specifications, and construction procedures.
• Experience with structural concrete, reinforcing steel, formwork, falsework, and bridge construction.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Proven leadership skills with experience directing multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and overall construction operations.
