Job summary

Vixxo is seeking a traveling equipment technician to service our customers nationwide. The ideal candidate will be based in Kansas City, MO.

As an equipment technician, you will work independently to provide both reactive and preventative maintenance services throughout an assigned territory. This role involves hands-on service of espresso and beverage equipment, with a focus on safety, reliability, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of equipment servicing experience.
• At least 1 year in a customer-facing role.
• Must like coffee; tasting is the final step in repairs.
• Smartphone proficiency for inventory, scheduling, and other tasks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Repair espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, and water systems across an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with professional, safe service.
• Meet SLA targets by inspecting, maintaining equipment correctly, and documenting work.

TOP 3 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory.
• Own relationships with your customers and inspire customer loyalty by providing professional and reliable services that adhere to all safety rules
• Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements required by customers, which included conducting thorough inspections, performing timely maintenance on equipment correctly the first time, and completing descriptive and accurate paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of experience servicing equipment, preferably with experience using proper testing equipment and practices for general electric and water
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or customer service role
• Must like coffee: Tasting is the final step in all repairs
• Smartphone proficient in inventory, managing schedules, and other tasks
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
