Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. is seeking a Traveling Foreman to oversee electrical installation projects across Oregon, with travel and lodging paid by the company. This field role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.

You will lead crews, interpret blueprints, install distribution equipment and conduits, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure timely, compliant completion of projects. A Oregon Journeyman license is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in English required for safety and on-site communication.
• Ability to obtain Oregon Journeyman's License.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels.
• Installation of in-ground conduits.
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems.
• Installation of wiring (NMB, MC, single conductor cable, conduit systems).
• Installation of low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Operate a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
• Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments.

Looking for a Traveling Foreman for work in the state of Oregon at first. Will pay for travel & company will pay for lodging.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installation of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operate a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• The ability to get an Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
