Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. is a nationwide contractor seeking an experienced electrical installer. The role focuses on installing distribution equipment, conduits, lighting, and low-voltage systems, while reading complex blueprints and ensuring safety on-site.

The candidate will troubleshoot electrical systems, operate tools, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality workmanship with efficiency and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required for safety and on-site communication.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels.
• Install in-ground conduits.
• Install lighting and lighting control systems.
• Install wiring (NMB, MC, single conductor, conduits EMT/PVC/ridig).
• Install low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring, lighting, devices.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Operate hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
• Use measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments.
• Connect electrical components to HVAC systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installations of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments
• Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
