Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking experienced Welders to support projects across the US. The role involves TIG Lathe and orbital welding, assembling components in a manufacturing setting, with travel up to 80–90% and daytime hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, plus potential overtime.

You will join a team optimizing gas and chemical handling for semiconductors. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of TIG Lathe or orbital welding experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of hands-on TIG Lathe or Orbital welding experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and drawings.
• Must be able to travel up to 80–90% for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform orbital GTAW tube welding, assembly and installation of mechanical components onto sheet metal frames.
• Check raw materials against BOM and arrange per design drawing.
• Inspect and perform general tool maintenance; follow welding symbols and sequence.
• Interpret P&ID and mechanical diagrams using the computer interface; adjust weld parameters as needed.
