Job summary

Westmor Industries, a leader in designing and supporting storage, transport, and dispensing solutions, seeks a Traveling Pipefitter/Welder to install pipe and control systems at customer sites in the fuel industry. You will read blueprints, lay out jobs, and perform welding tasks across multiple locations.

The role requires travel, safety‑driven performance, and the ability to operate diverse tools. Starting pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, with eligibility for benefits and company match

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints.
• Pipefitting experience necessary.
• Extensive experience installing, maintaining, and repairing high or low‑pressure pipe and control systems is preferred.
• Understand advanced pipe fabrications and proper alignment and stress relieving of pipes.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe and control systems for customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry.
• Perform any and all job functions requested regardless of classification.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely (Stick/SMAW welder, Oxy/Acetylene, grinders, drills, forklift, etc.).
• Lay out work from blueprints and collaborate with pipefitting tools and materials to complete tasks.
• Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly.
• Travel is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

A Traveling Pipefitter/Welder is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Install pipe and control systems for our customers in the fuel storage and distribution industry


• Perform any and all job functions requested regardless of classification


• Operate and maintain equipment safely - Stick/SMAW welder, Oxy/Acetylene, Grinders, Belt Sanders, Drills, Positioner Tables, Chop Saw, Forklift, etc.


• Lay out a job based off blueprints and efficiently working with pipefitting tools and materials to complete the tasks


• Use basic hand tools for disassembly/assembly


• Travel is required


• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
