Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas certification as a Vision Teacher – preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach visually impaired students to develop safe travel skills.
• Evaluate students for orientation and mobility needs.
• Plan and provide instruction aligned with individual education plans (IEP).
• Track student progress and adapt program as needed.
