Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Traveling Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT, RVS, or ARRT) to support multiple clinics within an assigned market cluster. This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday outpatient schedule across several clinic locations, with no overnight shifts.

You will perform high-quality lower extremity venous duplex ultrasounds, communicate findings to physicians, and travel between clinics as needed to ensure patient access to vascular ultrasound care.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of one year of hands‑on vascular ultrasound scanning experience required.
• Strong ultrasound scanning skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for patient care and creating a positive patient experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced outpatient clinical environment and travel throughout an assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound evaluations and post‑treatment scans.
• Maintain proper scanning protocols with patient comfort and safety.
• Communicate preliminary findings to physicians accurately and efficiently.
• Document ultrasound findings and patient information in the EMR system.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in exam rooms and around ultrasound equipment.
• Travel between clinics within an assigned geographic market based on schedules.
