Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a Traveling Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT, RVS, or ARRT) to support Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx clinics. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday outpatient schedule while working across multiple clinic locations in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

You will perform high-quality venous duplex examinations, maintain scanning protocols, and communicate findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or ARRT certification required.
• Minimum of one year of hands-on vascular ultrasound scanning experience required.
• Strong ultrasound scanning skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Nassau and Suffolk Co.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound evaluations and post-treatment scans.
• Maintain proper scanning protocols while ensuring patient comfort and safety during exams.
• Communicate preliminary findings to physicians accurately and efficiently.
• Document ultrasound findings and patient information within the EMR system.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within exam rooms and ultrasound equipment areas.
• Travel between Suffolk and Nassau Co clinics based on operational needs.
• Adapt quickly to varying clinic workflows while maintaining strong patient experience standards.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the entire patient experience.
