Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is seeking a physically capable crew member for outdoor utility pole maintenance and inspections in Olympia, WA. You will work with Inspectors and Trainees, travel extensively, and perform duties ranging from pole maintenance to digging holes while adhering to strict safety standards.

This full-time traveling role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and willingness to travel for extended periods.

Qualifications

Must possess a current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWIs in past 5 years).
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Willing to travel locally, statewide, or regionally as required.
Lift or move up to 40 lbs and hike on various terrain.
Complete pre-employment screening including background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety protocols and standards set by the company and regulations.
Identify defects in utility poles and report findings promptly.
Maintain and calibrate tools and equipment.
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
Perform maintenance on utility poles as directed by Inspector/Foreman/Supervisor.
Work as part of a crew and communicate effectively with teammates.
Dig holes to required specifications.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
