Job summary

The Osmose company is seeking a Utility Pole Inspection Laborer to assist the Foreman with inspections, maintenance, and restoration of utility infrastructure across the United States.

Responsibilities include safe operation of required safety equipment, carrying tools and supplies, performing ground work, applying preservative or coatings, and supporting installation tasks. This position emphasizes reliability, ability to work outdoors in varied weather, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Must complete Osmose UTV Qualification Program if operating a company UTV.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no DUI/DWI convictions within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely with required safety equipment and adhere to safe work practices.
• Carry tools and supplies to the structure being serviced.
• Utilize equipment to excavate and backfill around structures.
• Apply preservative and/or coating to ground line areas of structures.
• Assist with installation of trusses for deteriorated structures.
• Maintain productivity and quality aligned with company standards.
