Job summary

National Professional Services seeks a groundperson to support traveling crews, operating a chainsaw, and assisting climbers with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposal. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to regulations, and versatile on-site duties across rotations.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and a preference for candidates with prior tree groundsman experience or related work. Full-time hours with a rotating travel schedule are involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous work as a tree groundsman or similar preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Drug-free.

Responsibilities

• Drive work vehicles and travel with the crew during rotations.
• Carrying out maintenance duties as directed by Foreman.
• Operate a chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps efficiently.
• Assist climbers with tree removals, pruning and debris disposal.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
