Job summary

Centerstone is seeking an unlicensed therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team serving Centerville, Lynchburg, and Linden counties in Tennessee. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Travel across the assigned service area is expected, with responsibilities including intake, assessment, therapy, and treatment planning. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a relevant field and license-eligibility.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience is required.
• Master’s degree in a listed field or equivalent with relevant coursework.
• License-eligible in the respective discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic rapport with clients and meet scheduled sessions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and identify need for risk assessment.
• Provide individual therapy (and possibly family therapy) for substance use and mental health issues.
• Develop, write, implement, and revise treatment goals and plans.
• Use empirically based modalities to engage and manage mental health or substance use diagnoses.
• Complete progress notes within agency guidelines and document within 24 hours.
• Respond to supervisory requests for urgent care and cover vacancies, including telephonic or in-person support.
