Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction invites a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join its Utah team.

This role focuses on constructing and grading roadways and site work using backhoes, trackhoes, bulldozers, excavators, loaders and other heavy equipment to meet project specifications. You will work in a fast-paced environment, follow safety standards, and may require overtime, weekends, or travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of heavy equipment operating experience with multiple types of equipment.
• Willing to perform laborer work.
• Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Operate three or more types of heavy equipment (e.g., backhoe, trackhoe, scrapers, dozer, excavator, loader) to prepare job sites according to grade.
• Attach, connect, and manage equipment and hydraulic tools as required.
• Move material and grade dirt, rock, and debris to meet project specifications.
• Maintain equipment and report usage hours; ensure safe operation and housekeeping.
