ANCO Wireless is seeking a motivated Tower Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade cellular towers and related infrastructure. The role requires working at heights and traveling up to 80% of the year to support client sites.

Ideal candidates bring tower climbing or cellular maintenance experience, knowledge of RF systems, and a strong safety mindset. Relocation to Rapid City, SD may be required, with CDL considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in tower climbing or cellular maintenance preferred; training provided.
• Knowledge of RF systems, coax, and fiber preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL a plus; willingness to relocate to Rapid City, SD.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cellular towers, antennas, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
• Replace or upgrade equipment, cables, and hardware as needed.
• Utilize test equipment to verify system performance and signal quality.
• Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and RF exposure guidelines.
• Complete detailed reports documenting work performed, materials used, and site conditions.
• Collaborate with crew members, foremen, and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
