Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Industrial TIG Welders for projects in the South Haven, MS area on first shift. You will weld large-bore piping and structural steel to ASME IX specs, read drawings, and verify fit-up.

Candidates must have 3+ years of TIG or SMAW welding, ASME IX qualification or be able to pass a test, and be able to work at heights and on site. Per diem is offered for travelers; safety and quality are emphasized.

Competenze

• 3+ years welding large industrial piping and/or structural steel.
• Completion of a recognized welding apprenticeship or equivalent military experience.
• Proficient with GTAW (TIG) on stainless steel and SMAW (stick) on carbon steel.
• ASME Section IX qualification or ability to pass pre-employment test to ASME IX.
• Current ASME Section IX qualification (e.g., 6G) in GTAW on stainless or SMAW on carbon.
• Proficiency in TIG on stainless and stick on carbon; FCAW a plus.
• OSHA 10 or equivalent training; TI can provide training for qualified candidates.

Mansioni

• Fit, tack, and weld large-bore industrial piping and structural steel per drawings and ASME IX WPS.
• Lay out, cut, bevel, grind, and align joints; verify fit-up and root openings.
• Read isometrics, spool, and structural drawings; weld maps and heat numbers.
• Support hanging of strut, supports, hangers, and structural members; assist with bolt-up.
• Stage, move, and inventory pipe, fittings, and tools; maintain orderly laydown areas.
• Follow LOTO, PPE, hot-work permits; report damaged material and conflicts immediately.
