Job summary

Tradesmen International is actively hiring experienced industrial TIG welders for projects around the South Haven, MS area. This first shift role offers pay of $30-50/hour plus $160/day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the site.

Candidates will weld large-bore piping and structural steel, following ASME IX procedures and WPS, with emphasis on safety and craftsmanship. GA/ATLANTA applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding large industrial piping and/or structural steel with OR without apprenticeship.
• Hands-on GTAW (TIG) on stainless steel and SMAW on carbon steel.
• ASME IX qualification or ability to pass pre-employment test.
• Able to read isometric, spool, and structural drawings.
• Willing to work outdoors and at heights on a data center site.

Responsibilities

• Fit, tack, and weld piping or structural steel per drawings and WPS.
• Layout, bevel, grind, and confirm fit-up and reinforcement.
• Read isometrics and spool drawings; follow welding maps and heat numbers.
• Support hanging, bolting, and alignment of structural members.
• Manage laydown areas, tool inventory, and site safety practices.
