Job summary

First State Bank is seeking a Float Teller/Retail Services Representative to work onsite at our O’Fallon, MO branch. The role involves filling in for teller shortages across locations and delivering friendly, accurate service.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, handling cash, cross-selling bank products, and completing required training. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of banking experience are preferred; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to two years related banking experience preferred.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different locations to cover staffing shortages and perform teller/R SR duties.
• Maintain cash balances and balance vault when assigned; perform teller transactions accurately.
• Open customer accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and merchant services.
• Promote bank products and services and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Complete required regulatory and internal training and comply with bank policies.
