Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maintenance) to provide maintenance for portable restrooms and trailers across multiple locations. Based out of Charlotte, NC / Leetsdale, PA / or Baltimore, MD, you will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and field service while using digital tools to manage work orders.

The role requires 70-85% travel, a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call/OT compensation, and opportunity for growth within a fast-paced,

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude with plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
  • Experience with portable toilet facilities or modular buildings is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Active state driver\'s license.
  • Construction knowledge and background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues.
  • Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes/models and manage work orders.
  • Perform general maintenance on restroom trailers and tool trailers.
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a timely manner.
  • Stay aware of OSHA requirements and participate in OEM training.

We’re hiring a Traveling Technician (Facilities Maint enance) that can be based out of Charlotte, NC / Leetsdale, PA / or Baltimore, MD , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their wo rk, and provide comprehensive facilities support. You will handle general maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company-owned facilities (Restroom Trailers, Tool Trailers) and help us build the future of construction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overt ime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided). 70-85% Travel

Primary Responsibilities

As a Tra vel technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, y ou can work smarter, not harder.

  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintaining facilities.
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including structural repairs to trailers, cabinetry adjustments, and door/hardware maintenance.
  • Execute minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging lines, and replacing fixtures within portable units and restroom trailers.
  • Perform installs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental bathroom trailers.
  • Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably to manage work orders.
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed in a complete and timely manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • Participate in year-round company-provided OEM training.
