Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking a Systems/Commissioning Engineer to lead the installation, startup, commissioning, and customer acceptance of automated CNC steel fabrication and sawing systems in the Morgantown, PA area.

The role demands coordinating on-site startup, performing power-up and I/O verification, calibration, and validation, and traveling domestically and internationally (50–75%). Beckhoff is preferred; TwinCAT, EtherCAT, PLC programming and motion controls are highly desirable.

Qualifications

Willing to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods.
Residence within 2 hours of an airport.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Beckhoff experience preferred but any controls system is acceptable.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, startup, commission, and obtain customer acceptance of automated CNC steel fabrication and sawing systems.
Lead onsite startup and commissioning at customer sites.
Travel up to 50–75% domestically and internationally.
Troubleshoot electrical/controls/software/mechanical issues on automation systems.
