Job summary

RNGD seeks a Traveling Survey Manager to lead survey operations across multiple projects. You will oversee field teams, ensure accuracy of layouts, and support design-to-field execution with GNSS, LiDAR, and CAD workflows.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control while traveling to active construction sites in the Southeast region. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Geomatics, or related field.
• 10+ years of construction survey experience.
• Proficiency with Trimble Siteworks or Trimble Access.
• Advanced knowledge of GNSS, total stations, LiDAR, and drone-based data collection.
• Strong CAD skills with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project setup and survey plans across multiple projects.
• Interpret drawings and shop drawings to ensure accurate field layout.
• Oversee field survey operations and ensure schedule alignment.
• Perform QA on survey calculations prior to field layout.
• Lead and develop field survey teams and subcontractors.
