Job summary

Sexton & Weiskopf Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will prepare and monitor patients through procedures involving local and IV sedation, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality care.

This RN will travel between the Memphis, Arlington, and Tipton, TN locations. Strong IV skills, acute care experience, and clear communication are essential to maintaining professional, confidential patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year RN experience in an acute or critical care setting (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, or Surgery).
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Strong IV insertion and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures involving local and IV sedation in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Assess and monitor patients during preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative stages in line with facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with oral surgeons and anesthesia providers to support safe and effective surgical care.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe, compliant clinical environment.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations and patient care.
