Job summary

Sexton & Weiskopf Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking an experienced Full-time Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will prepare and monitor patients through procedures involving local and IV sedation, ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality care across multiple TN locations.

You will travel between the Memphis, Arlington, and Tipton, TN sites, supporting preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care with a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an acute or critical care setting (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, or Surgery).
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Strong IV insertion and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures involving local and IV sedation in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Assess and monitor patients during preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative stages in line with facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with oral surgeons and anesthesia providers to support safe and effective surgical care.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe, compliant clinical environment.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations and patient care.
