Job summary

Ervin Cable Construction LLC seeks a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to oversee one or more underground telecom crews, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment. Candidates should have a solid working knowledge of telecom construction, experience with excavation equipment, and the ability to use digger derrick and trenching equipment.

100% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Strong supervisory and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of telecom equipment for safety, timeliness, and quality.
• Supervise day-to-day activities and monitor project progress to meet deliverables.
• Maintain clear communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Identify and mitigate project issues and risks; develop response plans.
• Understand current and future business goals and support area/project needs.
• Implement processes to complete tasks in assigned area or project.
• Communicate effectively with company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.
