Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee all stages of commercial construction projects, with a focus on self-storage and ground-up builds. This role requires extensive travel across multiple locations, strong leadership, safety oversight, and coordination with architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as Traveling Superintendent with self-storage background.
• Experience in ground-up, commercial, multi-story construction.
• Willingness to travel extensively per project requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process to meet time and budget.
• Supervise and coordinate field workers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure progress, quality, and safety.
• Develop schedules, manage daily operations, coordinate necessary parties.
• Address on-site issues and emergencies promptly to maintain continuity.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and specialists to achieve project goals.
• Submit periodic project reports to management.
