Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Traveling Superintendent with extensive ground-up self-storage experience to oversee commercial construction projects across multiple locations in the southeastern United States.

The role requires at least 5 years in traveling superintendent positions, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multi-story storage facility projects from inception to completion. Travel expenses are covered and a full benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Traveling Superintendent with self-storage background.
• Proficient in ground-up, commercial, multi-story construction projects.
• Extensive experience in traveling roles, managing projects in various locations.
• Strong leadership and project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process to meet time and budget targets.
• Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors across stages.
• Conduct regular site inspections for progress and safety compliance.
• Develop schedules and manage day-to-day operations across projects.
• Address on-site issues promptly to ensure continuity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other specialists to meet goals.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports to management.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards on site.
