Job summary

MPI is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up projects across multiple states, focusing on gas stations, fuel stations, convenience stores, truck stops, and QSR developments. You will lead on-site activities, coordinate utilities, and manage subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 5+ years of superintendent experience with a GC, a proven track record in fast-track systems, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience with a general contractor.
• Ground-up construction experience on multi-site projects.
• Experience with gas stations, fuel stations, c-stores, truck stops, and QSR builds.
• Ability to travel extensively and manage on-site teams.
• Knowledge of underground utilities, sitework, concrete, and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from sitework through completion.
• Manage subcontractors, inspections, vendors, and daily project operations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules while driving milestone completion.
• Coordinate underground utilities, fuel systems, canopies, building construction, and site development activities.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule expectations are consistently achieved.
• Serve as the primary field representative on assigned projects.
