Job summary

rand* construction corporation is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead field teams on diverse commercial interiors, retail and renovation projects. You will travel across markets, manage subcontractors, and ensure work meets plans and schedules with strong client communication.

The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and exemplary project administration while representing rand*’s commitment to excellent client service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or experience working in the trades; college experience preferred.
• 15 years of experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail or building renovation projects.
• OSHA 30; OSHA Competent Persons Training preferred.
• Capable of managing projects up to $10M.
• First Aid and CPR Certification.
• 6 years’ experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead field supervision of all staff on a project and ensure work is built to plans and specifications.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, laborers and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate material, tools/equipment, information, and staffing to the jobsite in a timely fashion.
• Prepare daily reports, time sheets, safety reports and other required forms.
• Direct subcontractors and schedule work according to the project schedule.
• Communicate effectively with internal project teams and client teams to promote Rand*’s reputation for client service.
