The Role

The Traveling Superintendent oversees construction projects from planning through completion, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety standards, and delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in commercial or industrial construction management.
• Experience managing multiple trades and craft personnel.
• Preferred experience with heavy civil, infrastructure projects, and Federal, State, or DOT contracts.
• Strong understanding of structural design, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule, and quality; coordinate logistics and resources.
• Manage subcontractors and craft workers; ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and monitor project schedules; report progress and issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Travel to various project sites across the U.S., often between locations.
• Perform physical job functions as required, including site inspections and lifting up to 25 pounds.
