Job summary

ARCO National Holdings is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead large data center projects from preconstruction to punch list. You will direct subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure profitability while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data center construction, proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/Excel, and a valid driver's license. This full-time on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and travel for complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, with at least 5 years in data center construction or mission critical projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and direct subcontractors to resolve conflicts and keep work on schedule.
• Support the construction schedule with activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment planning.
• Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain constant communication with the project team on progress, plans, and issues impacting costs or schedules.
• Complete daily reports documenting key project details, events, and client interactions.
• Enforce adherence to ARCO's safety program and uphold company values.

A Day in the Life

• Lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects from preconstruction through punch list
• Demonstrate strong leadership with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct subcontractors, and effectively resolve conflicts
• Partner with the project team to support the construction schedule, including activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment needs
• Ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability
• Assist in the preparation of job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs
• Review and approve requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and key project documents
• Maintain constant communication with the project team to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and issues that may impact costs or schedules
• Complete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals
• Enforce adherence to the company’s safety program in all phases of the project
• Lead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and focusing on exceeding internal and external client expectations

Necessary Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent, with at least 5 years in data center construction or mission critical projects
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Excel)
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds.
