Job Overview

Master's Plan Design & Construction is seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects, with a focus on ministry and church facilities. In this role, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a willingness to grow within our supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction to completion.
    • Manage one project at a time as the Lead Superintendent, reporting directly to the Project Manager based at the Tulsa office.
    • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Manage on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
  • Resolve on-site challenges and adapt plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintaining compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (experience with ministry facilities is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with construction management software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time position with travel requirements.
Work Location
  • Based on project assignments, travel is required. The office base is in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
    • Travel across the U.S. for projects, with durations ranging from 12 to 20 months per project.
    • Housing accommodations will be provided in fully furnished homes or apartments; employees are only responsible for groceries.
    • Family members are welcome to travel alongside if needed. If family travel is not feasible, trips home are scheduled every 4-5 weeks, typically from Thursday to Monday.
    • After completing one project, relocation to a new project site within the U.S. will be required.
