Job summary

A national general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on big box retail construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in retail or commercial construction, with proven expertise in managing large-format projects in occupied environments. With strong leadership and communication skills, the Superintendent will oversee all onsite activities, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering projects on time and on budget. Travel per diem and housing will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Superintendent experience in retail or commercial construction.
• Proven experience on big box retail or large-format commercial projects.
• Experience working in open-store or occupied environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage day-to-day field operations for big box retail projects.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
