Job summary

Pavilion Construction is seeking a Traveling Multifamily Superintendent to lead on-site operations for large-scale multifamily projects from startup through completion. You will drive safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and field performance while partnering with Project Management, subcontractors, clients, and design partners.

This role suits an experienced multifamily construction leader who can travel, manage complex field operations, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in multifamily construction.
• Led at least two garden-style multifamily projects from start to finish.
• Strong field leadership and superintendent experience.
• Willingness to travel between projects as required.
• Knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Experience developing and maintaining short-term schedules.
• Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Procore or similar construction management software proficiency.
• Hands-on leadership with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on multifamily projects.
• Manage subcontractors and jobsite activities from startup through closeout.
• Maintain a six-week look-ahead schedule.
• Uphold safety, quality, and production standards on site.
• Coordinate meetings with subcontractors, owners, and design partners.
• Monitor progress and address scheduling, quality, and coordination issues.
• Perform quality control evaluations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation in Procore.
• Keep a clean, organized, and professional jobsite reflecting Pavilion's standards.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Traveling Multifamily Superintendent, you'll lead on-site operations for large-scale multifamily projects from startup through completion. You'll take ownership of safety, quality, schedule, coordination, and overall field performance while working closely with Project Management, subcontractors, clients, and design partners.

This role is ideal for an experienced multifamily construction leader who is comfortable traveling, managing complex field operations, and driving projects to successful completion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead day-to-day field operations for multifamily construction projects
• Manage subcontractors, trade partners, and jobsite activities from startup through closeout
• Maintain and communicate a six-week look-ahead schedule
• Drive jobsite safety, quality, schedule, and production expectations
• Coordinate subcontractor meetings and participate in owner/architect meetings
• Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, quality, and coordination issues
• Perform quality control evaluations and drive timely corrective action
• Support conflict resolution and subcontractor coordination
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation in Procore
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite that reflects Pavilion's standards
• Build strong working relationships with project teams, trade partners, clients, and other stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 5+ years of multifamily construction experience
• Experience completing at least two garden-style multifamily projects from start to finish
• Strong field leadership and superintendent experience
• Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, safety, and quality control
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience developing and maintaining short-term project schedules
• Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software
• A hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
