Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Traveling Superintendent to lead construction efforts across multiple regions. The role requires hands-on site supervision, steadfast leadership, and a proven track record managing complex projects with frequent travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site management/superintendent experience.

Are you a seasoned Construction Superintendent that is open to travel 75% of the time? Company is currently seeking a highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to join a dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a construction professional who thrives on a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of unique projects across different regions. As a Traveling Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a FULL TIME Employment opportunity and NOT a Contract Position!

Responsibilities

1. Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on job sites, ensuring all work is carried out as per the project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.


2. Developing and implementing comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met timely and efficiently.


3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure smooth project execution.


4. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.


5. Ensuring all construction activities comply with the company's quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.


6. Managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local authorities, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.


7. Providing regular project updates to senior management, including progress reports, budget updates, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in site management/superintendent work, with a proven track record in site supervision and project management.


2. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, quality control, and safety protocols.


3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.


6. Proficiency in construction software and technology, including project management tools and CAD software.


7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to different job sites.
