The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day field activities, drive look-ahead schedules, and work closely with project management and operations leadership to deliver the project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Ground-up construction experience.
• Experience leading projects from framing through closeout.
• Strong understanding of look-ahead planning and scheduling.
• Procore experience.
• Willingness to travel and work on remote project sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field leader for an active ground-up commercial construction project.
• Manage and coordinate daily subcontractor activities and site operations.
• Develop and maintain 2-week, 3-week, and 6-week look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project quality, safety, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Partner with the Project Manager and Master Scheduler to achieve project milestones.
• Facilitate subcontractor coordination meetings and site logistics planning.
• Review construction documents and identify potential conflicts or issues before they impact the schedule.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally on-site.
• Ensure project documentation, reporting, and communication are properly maintained in Procore.
• Drive accountability among subcontractors and field personnel.
• Anticipate upcoming challenges and proactively develop solutions to keep work progressing.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations for a ground-up Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This individual will join the project approximately two months into construction and serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for driving project execution through completion.

The ideal candidate is a confident field leader who can successfully coordinate subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships, proactively address challenges, and ensure the project remains on schedule. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of project outcomes, and can work independently while collaborating closely with project management and operations leadership.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $55.29/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
