Job summary

Actalent seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent to coordinate on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion. This role requires 100% travel with lodging and daily meal allowances while on project sites, and mileage reimbursement for long trips.

You will study specifications and drawings, plan work-flows, help develop project schedules, and ensure permits are secured across multiple sites, often returning home every two weekends when schedules permit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management.

• Strong skills in subcontractor management.
• Experience in commercial construction and general contracting.
• Proficiency with Procore and OSHA 30 standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent.

Work Environment

This position requires 100% travel. Lodging needs are covered while on a project away from home, along with daily meal allowances and mileage reimbursement for travel over 60 miles one way. The role allows for travel home every two weekends if the job schedule permits.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Elmo, MN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

• We pay for your lodging needs (while on a project away from home)
• Daily meal Per-Diem (while on a project away from home)
• Mileage reimbursement (while on a project away from home and at least 60 miles one way)
• Travel home every 2 weekends if job schedule allows
