As a Traveling Superintendent, you will be working on exciting projects in different markets, often with extended overnight stays out of town. Travel may range from 90 miles from a local rand* office to other states across the country. The Superintendent is responsible for all the field staff on a project and will make sure that projects are built according to plans and specifications. They will supervise work of all subcontractors, vendors, laborers and other project stakeholders, ensuring that the material, tools and equipment are available as needed. The Superintendent handles all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office, such as daily reports, time sheets, safety reports and accident reports. They monitor the work being performed, direct subcontractors, and schedule all work according to the project schedule, while promoting rand*’s reputation for exceptional client service.
