Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Traveling Assistant Store Opening Coordinator to assist the Store Opening Coordinator with all facets of new store openings. The role involves building fixtures, merchandising, training new Associates and guiding teams through set up.

Travel is required to support openings across locations; candidates should have retail supervisory experience, comfort with Excel, and the ability to manage deadlines and safety standards on busy set ups.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of retail supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in management preferred.
• Able to travel to new stores, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store openings by building fixtures, merchandising and training.
• Meet daily timelines for fixture builds, truck unload, and ticketing.
• Schedule and monitor workload at new store locations.
• Communicate with Store Opening Coordinator to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure store layouts follow plans and support new store strategies.
• Recruiting and candidate selection for new stores.
