Barton Malow is seeking Traveling Project Managers to join our team on solar projects across the Great Lakes region. Roles will report to teams in Southfield, MI and Grandville, MI and be largely on-site at assigned projects within the region.

These positions require a 4-year degree in engineering or construction management and 5-8 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership, communication, and a proactive safety mindset. Travel to project sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering or construction management degree required.
• 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience leading a team of construction staff and subcontractors.
• Must be able to travel regularly to project sites across the Great Lakes Region.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all work is installed and documented per project quality standards.
• Ensure construction complies with client and company policies and standards.
• Plan and manage activities of company personnel and subcontractors on assigned projects.
• Review proposals and plans to establish timeframes, budgets and staffing needs.
• Coordinate submittals and verify design compliance.
• Manage project budgets and project control requirements.
• Support weekly and monthly project reports and turnover documentation.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to project personnel toward development goals.
