Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Traveling Project Manager for utility-scale renewable energy projects across the Great Lakes region. The role will be largely on-site at project sites, with travel required to sites in the Great Lakes area.

The candidate will oversee quality, safety, budgets, and schedules, reporting to teams in Southfield, MI, and Grandville, MI. A 4-year degree in engineering or construction management and 5–7 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive safety stance and field leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work complies with project quality standards and client policies.
• Coordinate activities of company personnel and subcontractors on site.
• Review proposals, schedules, and budgets to plan resources and timelines.
• Oversee submittals, design coordination, and procurement to meet turnover deadlines.
• Support project reporting and documentation, including O&M manuals as required.
• Travel to project sites across the Great Lakes Region as needed.
