Job summary

Barton Malow Company is seeking Project Engineers to join our team on solar & wind projects throughout the state of Michigan and Great Lakes Region. These positions report to Southfield, MI and Grandville, MI offices and primarily operate onsite with travel.

Roles involve coordinating construction engineering activities and liaising with architects, engineers, and owners for progress and changes. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of relevant experience, a 4-year degree in engineering or

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant professional experience or related internship.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for resolution and tracking of project issues.
• Manage all project document control.
• Process submittals and RFIs.
• Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.
• Prepare and issue meeting minutes.
• Assist with planning and managing site logistics.
• Enforce corporate safety policies on jobsite.
• Evaluate contractor quotations for changes and process change orders.
• Manage plan review and approval with local/state municipalities.
