Job summary

USO Building Co./US-Offsite is seeking a Traveling Site Superintendent to lead field operations on active construction projects across California. This role requires extensive travel and assignments lasting 8-14 months, with company housing support and travel assistance.

You will manage safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and modular delivery from mobilization through closeout, driving the schedule and ensuring timely project turnover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction industry.
• 5+ years in site superintendent or similar leadership role.
• 3+ years direct field construction experience.
• Willingness to travel extensively across California.
• Experience with modular design-build is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, USO personnel, and logistics.
• Enforce safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Manage modular deliveries, setting, and sequencing.
• Develop site logistics plans and maintain organized jobsite.
• Prepare accurate field reports and documentation.
• Drive project milestones and maintain schedule momentum.
