Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager I, Commissioning to join the Field Operations Team. This is a traveling, field-based position with responsibility for commissioning activities across projects.

You will oversee the Commissioning Specialist and staff, develop commissioning plans, and ensure equipment and systems meet project requirements. A bachelor’s degree and multiple years of commissioning experience are preferred, with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Must understand wiring, HVAC, piping or plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience leading commissioning on construction projects.
• Experience setting up CxAlloy databases for multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Commissioning Specialist and provide training for career advancement.
• Assist in developing commissioning scope and plans.
• Review subcontractor scope to ensure adequate commissioning coverage.
• Lead on-site commissioning meetings and schedule development.
• Generate commissioning status reports and provide feedback on deficiencies.
