Job summary

ADA Lift Rentals of America, a division of Southeast Elevator, LLC, seeks a motivated Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain ADA-compliant portable lifts for events nationwide. This role requires extensive travel and involves safety inspections, equipment documentation, and on-site support.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, the ability to read schematics, and experience with diagnostic testing.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems using appropriate testing and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair ADA portable lifts and related equipment.
• Load/unload lifts and position them safely at event sites.
• Drive truck and trailer and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Perform pre/post-shift safety inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Read diagrams and document service activities and completed work orders.
