Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage a project or a major component within our National Healthcare Division. The role requires full-time travel across the country, applying JE Dunn processes for project management, administration and field execution.

The position emphasizes autonomy, decision making, safety culture, and collaboration with foremen, subcontractors and project teams. 3+ years of construction experience and a bachelor’s degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, safety and quality plans per company standards.
• Coordinate QA/QC planning and subcontractor proposals.
• Support estimating, change management and schedule updates.
• Supervise on-site activities and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Lead meetings, maintain documentation and procurement logs.
• Support project close-out, punch lists and manuals.
