Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager for a full-time traveling assignment supporting Advanced Technology projects, including Data Centers, Pharmaceutical, and EV/ Renewable sectors. The role demands leadership of end-to-end commissioning, QC integration, and seamless collaboration with owners, GC teams, and vendors.

The successful candidate will have deep MEP knowledge, 12+ years in construction, and a proven track record in Level 1–5 commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years in General Construction (MEP Engineer/Superintendent or related) incl. PE/trade work
• Minimum 5+ years of commissioning experience bridging field and engineering
• Strong MEP knowledge across trades, means/methods, tolerances, and QC/USACE familiarity
• ASHRAE commissioning certification or deep ASHRAE process understanding
• Experience with Building Management Systems and environmental controls
• Ability to interpret contract docs, OPRs, drawings, specs, and sequences
• Travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Commissioning activities from Level 1 to Level 5 for new or retrofit facilities
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams to ensure compliant project delivery
• Implement policies to support schedule, contractual obligations, and project QC
• Collaborate with QC/MEP teams to verify checklists, docs, and test scripts are completed
• Develop and manage Start-up/Commissioning schedules integrated into project timelines
• Lead Start-up and Commissioning meetings and updates with stakeholders
• Populate online equipment databases for consistent inspections and naming
• Oversee QC Plan development and project dashboards for trend identification
