Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Traveling Low Voltage Access Control and CCTV Technician to service Colorado City, TX and Houston, TX. Earn $24-$34/hour DOE with weekly pay, per diem, and hotel accommodations.

The role requires traveling across Texas, with a Monday-Saturday schedule and significant overtime opportunities. The technician will install and service CCTV, access control, and alarms, troubleshoot networking and low-voltage systems, and collaborate with clients on security upgrades.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing commercial security systems (CCTV, access control).
• Strong knowledge of networking, low-voltage wiring, and NEC standards.
• Ability to travel throughout Texas and work a varied schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and servicing of CCTV, access control, sensors, and security devices.
• Install and troubleshoot access control hardware (card readers, maglocks, electric strikes).
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV systems, cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and surveillance equipment.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to ensure correct implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and low-voltage issues.
• Configure and manage remote access software for system monitoring.
• Document service activities and system configurations.
• Travel to job sites across Texas as needed.
