Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist for a dynamic school environment near Riverside, CA. This itinerant role serves PreK–adult transition (3–22) across six campuses, with a caseload of 70–80 students and independence in the field.

The ideal candidate holds a California OT license, prior CA school experience, and proficiency with BOT-3 and Peabody assessments. Travel between sites is required; schedule is full-time with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Active California OT license required.
• Experience in California school settings.
• Proficiency with BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for ages 3–22.
• Data-driven approach to address parent concerns and inform service recommendations.
• Strong self-management and scheduling abilities; able to work independently.
• Experience across K-12 and adult transition caseloads; no cap.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not mandatory.
• Only licensed OTs; no assistants or supervised roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services and consultations as caseload evolves.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Develop, manage, and adjust a personal schedule aligned with district priorities.
• Serve as a resource for parents and staff by interpreting data and supporting program recommendations.
• Travel between multiple school sites to ensure continuity of care for all assigned students.
