Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide pediatric services in California. The role covers multiple sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based from the Redding office, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and about 40 hours per week.

New graduates are welcome, and travel between sites is required. Mileage and travel time are reimbursed, and local candidates are considered at the same rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• California OT license is required if applicable.
• Driver's license is required.
• BLS certification is required; NBCOT preferred.
• New grads accepted; no prior experience required.
• Experience with pediatric populations including autism, cerebral palsy, and sensory integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• School-based occupational therapy position serving pediatric, school-aged clients
• Assignment covers multiple school sites in Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of the Redding office
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluations, and treatment program design and implementation
• Position involves traveling between multiple school sites within the assigned counties
• Preference for candidates available for the entire school year
