Job summary

B&B Concrete Contractors is looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to ensure compliance with safety standards on construction projects in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in safety management, be OSHA 30-hour accredited, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities involve developing safety programs, conducting inspections, and training project staff to promote a zero-injury culture. This is a full-time traveling position.

Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• 3+ years of safety experience or similar education.
• Working knowledge of safety/environment principles.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation required.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
• Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project safety program.
• Establish jobsite orientations for new project employees.
• Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors.
• Establish regular safety meetings with project staff.
• Record and log safety meetings and inspections.
• Perform regular jobsite inspections and document findings.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Maintain required safety records and documentation.
