Qualifications
Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
3+ years of safety experience or similar education.
Working knowledge of safety/environment principles.
OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation required.
OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus.
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
Assist in development of the project safety program.
Establish jobsite orientations for new project employees.
Conduct pre-planning safety meetings with subcontractors.
Establish regular safety meetings with project staff.
Record and log safety meetings and inspections.
Perform regular jobsite inspections and document findings.
Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Maintain required safety records and documentation.
